I-405, I-90 Closures Continue Through Weekend

πŸ”Š Listen Β· narrated by Aiden

Multiple Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) projects will close lanes on I-405 and I-90 in Tacoma this week, with some closures extending through Monday morning.

I-405 southbound will close from milepost 12 to Coal Creek Parkway Southeast from 9 p.m. Thursday through 5 a.m. Friday. I-405 northbound will have two lane closures nightly from milepost 7 to 8.5, from 9 p.m. Monday through 4:30 a.m. Friday. I-90 eastbound off-ramp to Factoria Boulevard will close nightly from 9 p.m. Monday through 5 a.m. Friday.

WSDOT's construction schedule shows these closures are part of ongoing work to improve infrastructure. Drivers should expect delays and follow detour signs. The closures will end by 5 a.m. Friday, with some work continuing on State Route 20 and SR 9 through mid-September.
