I-405, SR 532, and SR 522 closures for maintenance

πŸ”Š Listen Β· narrated by Aiden

Multiple Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) projects begin this week with lane closures affecting Tacoma-area highways. I-405 will have southbound lane closures nightly from July 27 to July 31 between mileposts 18. 11 and 16. 45. SR 532 will shift westbound traffic between mileposts 4 and 3 from August 2 to August 3. SR 522 will close its right lane northbound from August 5 to August 6 between mileposts 12 and 13.

WSDOT's notices detail specific times and locations for each closure, including alternating traffic with flaggers on SR 96 from July 27 to July 31 and lane closures on SR 203 from July 27 to July 31. Residents should expect delays during overnight and early morning hours when these closures are active. The department states that pilot cars and flaggers will direct traffic through affected areas.
