I-405, SR 9 closures continue in Tacoma

I-405 will see multiple lane closures from Friday, Aug. 28 through Monday, Aug. 31. Northbound lanes will close from Northeast 70th Place to Northeast 85th Street and from Northeast 85th Street on-ramp to Northeast 100th Street, with signed detours in place. Southbound HOV lane will close nightly from Aug. 24–28.

SR 9 near Kalloch Road (MP 59) will remain reduced to a single lane until Sept. 14 for fish passage construction. Alternate traffic signals will also be in place on SR 9 near Mount Vernon Big Lake Road (MP 49) through Sept. 3. Drivers should expect delays in these areas during construction hours.
