Starting Monday, Aug. 10, multiple Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) projects will impact Tacoma-area roads. The northbound I-5 off-ramp to Southcenter Parkway (milepost 154) will close nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. through Friday, Aug. 14. Meanwhile, both directions of State Route 169 will close between Southeast 332nd Street and Plass Road near Jones Lake beginning Aug. 17 for 35 days to remove a fish barrier.
Other changes include nightly closures on I-405βs Express Toll Lanes from Aug. 10 to 14, and flagger-controlled traffic on State Route 96 from Aug. 10 to 14. State Route 9 will have flagger-controlled traffic over the Snohomish River Bridge on Aug. 15-16. WSDOT notes local access remains available on SR 169 during its closure, and detours will be posted for other projects.
