The right lane of northbound I-5 will remain closed from East 28th Street in Tacoma to 20th Street East in Fife through August 2027 for the Port of Tacoma Phase 2 project. A separate closure will temporarily shut the northbound I-5 off-ramp to Port of Tacoma Road (Exit 136B) from 11 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 8 to 2 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9.
