The right lane of northbound I-5 will be closed from East 28th Street in Tacoma to 20th Street East in Fife through August 2027. The Port of Tacoma Phase 2 project will also close the northbound I-5 off-ramp to Port of Tacoma Road (Exit 136B) from 11 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 8 to 2 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9. Detours will be in place for both closures.
