Pierce Transit Reopens Admin Lobby, Adjusts Schedules

Pierce Transit has reopened its main administration lobby following construction to update doors and improve ADA access, according to a June 30 announcement.

Fan Zone Express service will run from 11:30 a.m. to 8:42 p.m. on July 1 to accommodate a watch party for the USA vs. Bosnia and Herzegovina match, extending the usual schedule. Pierce Transit will observe Independence Day on July 3 with buses operating on a Sunday schedule, and the Customer Service Center closed.

The Transit Development Plan draft is open for public comment until July 15, with a public hearing scheduled for July 13. A new payment option for Runner rides via the Pierce Transit On Demand app begins July 1, allowing credit/debit card payments.
