Tacoma City Council will hold its regular meeting on September 30 at STAR Center instead of the usual Municipal Building location. The meeting, originally set for September 29 at 5 p.m. in the Municipal Building Council Chambers, will now take place at 6 p.m. with doors opening at 5:30 p.m. at STAR Center (3873 S. 66th St.).
The council stated this change is part of a new effort to host in-district meetings to better address neighborhood concerns and reach underserved communities. The September 30 meeting will include regular agenda items and a community forum with no virtual participation option. Free refreshments and childcare will be provided. City staff will be available to answer questions and assist with service requests.
A study session remains scheduled for September 29 at noon in the Municipal Building. Meeting details are available at cityoftacoma.legistar.com.
