Tacoma Council Moves Meeting to Community Space

πŸ”Š Listen Β· narrated by Aiden

Tacoma City Council will hold its regular meeting on Sept. 30 at STAR Center instead of the Tacoma Municipal Building, per a city notice. The Sept. 30 meeting replaces a Sept. 29 meeting scheduled at 747 Market St., with doors opening at 5:30 p.m. and the meeting starting at 6 p.m.

City staff will be on-site at STAR Center to answer questions and help with service requests. The shift aims to better respond to neighborhood concerns and reach underserved communities, according to the city. A study session remains scheduled for Sept. 29 at the Municipal Building.
