TPS Preschool Enrollment Open for Free Spots

🔊 Listen · narrated by Aiden

Tacoma Public Schools (TPS) announced free preschool spots are still available for the 2026 school year as of September 20, 2026.

Families can apply for preschool by completing a preschool application to determine eligibility based on address, age, and household income. The application process is required for enrollment, with the deadline for the Child Nutrition Eligibility and Education Benefits (CNEEB) form set for October 1, 2026.

The CNEEB form helps schools secure additional resources for students and may reduce or eliminate fees for athletics, ASB, after-school programs, and college applications. Completing the form takes 5-7 minutes online or at a school office.
