Washington state is sending a 55-person delegation to the Farnborough International Airshow in the UK starting Monday, July 20, 2026. The state is spending $275,000 on the trip, with $110,000 coming from the Department of Commerce budget.
The delegation will attend the five-day event, the second-largest air show globally, to promote Washington's aerospace sector. The state's Department of Commerce says the event offers a key opportunity to showcase the state's aerospace industry. The trip includes $45,000 for travel and lodging for eight Commerce officials and state Sen. Marko Liias, and $65,000 for exhibit space and trade show fees.
