WSDOT announces multiple road closures for Tacoma area

WSDOT announced multiple road closures and lane reductions starting this week for maintenance and safety projects in Pierce County. The closures include SR 302, SR 507, SR 599, SR 167, SR 515, and I-405. The changes affect drivers traveling through Gig Harbor, Spanaway, and Tacoma.

Crews will permanently close the right lane of southbound SR 302 between the Purdy Bay Bridge and Burnham Drive Northwest on Sept. 16-17. SR 507 will have one-way alternating traffic at 208th Street South near Spanaway through Sept. 14. The northbound SR 599 lane closure at I-5 is scheduled for Sept. 10-11.
