WSDOT announced multiple highway closures and lane restrictions effective Monday, July 27 through Friday, July 31, 2026. The most significant changes include nightly closures of up to two southbound lanes on I-405 between mileposts 18.11 and 16.45 from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m., and a similar closure on I-405 from milepost 9 to 6.5 from 9:30 p.m. to 5 a.m.
State Route 527 will have its center lane closed nightly from 9 p.m. Monday to 12 a.m. Thursday, while SR 203 will see one lane closed nightly Sunday through Friday mornings for paving. SR 96 will alternate traffic daily from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., and SR 20 will alternate traffic from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on specific days. SR 155 remains closed indefinitely due to a wildfire between Nespelem and Omak.
US 2 will close traffic nightly from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. with shoulder closures, and SR 203 will have flaggers directing traffic through a single lane. All projects are scheduled to end by July 31, 2026, with SR 155's reopening time still undetermined.
